Recipe of Chatpate Dahi Aaloo
Ingredients required:
- 3-5 boiled potatoes[Aaloo], mashed
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 250 grams curd [Dahi]
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin [jeera]
- 1/2 teaspoon Banarasi Rye
- 200 ml boiled water
- 2 teaspoon vegetable spice [Sabji Masala]
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder [Haldi]
- 1 pinch asafoetida [Hing]
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder [Dhania Powder]
- 6-7 curry leaves [Kadhi patta]
- Salt according to your taste
Procedure:
- Heat the oil in a frying pan. Then add curry leaves, cumin, Banarasi rye, asafoetida let them cook for 5-6 seconds and then add turmeric powder, red chili powder coriander powder, vegetable spice and let it cook for 1 minute.
- After that add mashed potatoes to it, fry it for 1 minute.
- Then add 200 ml boiled water.
- Cook it for 2-3 minutes. Then add salt and curd and then cook it for 5-6 minutes.
- Decorate it with some coriander leaves.
- Now your Dahi Aaloo is ready, serve it with Chapati and rice.
