Bhindi Ki Sabzi
Ingredients Required:
- 250 grams bhindi [ladyfinger]
- 2 medium onion, finely cut in pieces
- 4-5 pieces of garlic, cut in slices
- 2 green chili, cut in small pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder [Haldi]
- 1/4 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- A pinch of asafoetida [Heeng]
- Salt according to your taste
- 3 tablespoon oil
Procedure:
- Rinse and dry the bhindi.
- Then cut it in round shape or cut it vertically into two or three pieces.
- Heat oil in a frying pan, and then add garlic and asafoetida into it.
- Fry it for 15-20 seconds.
- Then add sliced onions, stir them till they become glassy. Add turmeic powder, green chilies and stir.
- Add the bhindi and salt and stir.
- After that cover the pan and cook the bhindi for 4-5 minutes.
- After that remove the lid and add red chili powder, garam masala. Stir well.
- Now cook it till the oil starts separating and bhindi has cooked.
- Stir for sometime while the bhindi is cooking.
- Now, your bhindi is ready serve it with chapati.
